Diamond Certification and Appraisal 

Dufau Gemological Laboratories analyzes and grades individual diamonds and then issues an independent certification.  DGL grades diamonds to GIA standards and tests every material submitted to determine whether it is natural or not, and discloses any known treatments discovered during analysis. 

DGL ensures the integrity and accuracy of every report it issues by employing expert gemologists and appraisers. DGL ensures the objectivity of every report it issues by not allowing the gemologists to know from whom the diamonds were submitted.

DGL is the only laboratory in Indonesia that provides customers with current international values of their diamonds. This Appraisal Report is not an opinion of value on our part but a consensus of vast samplings of market values and current retail prices. The appraisal document describes all qualitative and quantitative attributes necessary to arrive at the value conclusion.  DGL reports an international retail market price.

Report Services

A)Additional Reports, duplicate reports, updated reports, Passport or ID Card Reports ordered with full certification or full certification/appraisal - 50% of listed price.

B) Receipts are required

C) Fees are incurred in full, regardless of outcome, upon commencement of lab work. Payment is due in full upon completion of lab work or customer pickup, whichever occurs first. DGL accepts payment via cash, check, or major credit card.

C) Turnaround time for reports in Indonesia are usually one hour.
